Since joining HDH in 2020, Samuel has established himself as a versatile valuation expert, managing engagements across industries such as manufacturing, healthcare, technology, real estate, and financial institutions. He has extensive experience valuing complex securities—including options, warrants, preferred and common stock, profits interests, debt instruments, and contingent consideration—as well as a broad range of intangible assets such as trade names, customer relationships, and proprietary technology. His analyses support mergers and acquisitions, ESOPs, financial reporting, and tax planning purposes.
Prior to joining HDH, Samuel worked in the Valuation and Business Modeling group at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), where he provided valuation services for numerous Fortune 1000 clients in the U.S. and abroad, focusing on financial reporting under ASC 805, ASC 350, ASC 360, ASC 718, and IFRS 3.
He holds a B.A. in Economics and a Master of Accountancy with a focus in Valuation from Vanderbilt University, and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder.
Outside the office, Samuel enjoys spending time with his wife, daughter, and German Shepherd, Dunkel.
