With specialized expertise in employee stock ownership plan (ESOP) and trust and estate valuations, Josh provides comprehensive valuation and advisory services for privately held companies. Since beginning his valuation career in 2016 and joining HDH in 2021, he has developed broad experience in ESOP, trust and estate, financial reporting, and strategic-related valuations across diverse industries.

He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Georgia and an Associate of Arts and Sciences in Business Administration from Gordon State College.

“HDH gives me a sandbox for analytical rigor. I thrive on being the impartial voice that determines what a share is truly worth, whether for annual ESOP statements or gifting strategies. Combining inquisitive modeling with airtight documentation is equal parts puzzle and public service.”

Outside of the office, Josh resets by counting trail markers instead of cells and swapping data for diapers, spending weekends in full dad mode with his twin daughters or hiking shoulder-to-shoulder with his wife, Yudelin, beneath Canton’s pines.
