Jonathan Whitehead

One of our leaders at HDH since 2013, Jonathan specializes in fair value measurements and assists public and private clients with their financial reporting valuation needs. He has significant experience in valuing complex securities such as options, warrants, profits interests, preferred and common stock, convertible notes, debt and related derivatives, and contingent consideration. His expertise extends to providing valuation and advisory services to Employee Stock Ownership Plans (ESOPs) and their trustees.

Before HDH, Jonathan worked in KPMG's Economic and Valuation Services group, where he provided valuation and advisory services to multinational public and large private companies. He holds a B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from the College of Charleston and is an Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA).

Outside of work, Jonathan spends time with his wife, two sons, and family dog, and also coaches youth football and lacrosse. He enjoys snow skiing, golf, fishing, and lake activities with family and friends.
